  • How to reach Marina di Portorosa

FROM CATANIA (STRONGLY RECOMMENDED): Marina di Portorosa is easily reached from Catania Fontanarossa international airport. From there we organise a shuttle transfer that takes you to the boarding port in 2 hours, at a cost of €35 per person each way.

FROM PALERMO: from Palermo-Punta Raisi airport (PMO), we also organise a private chauffeur transfer (NCC) that takes you directly to the boarding port in 2 hours / 2 hours 20, at a cost of €250 for a 9-seat minibus (€30 per person) or €200 for a 4-seat car (€50 per person).

Alternatively, you can take a bus/taxi from the airport to Palermo Centrale station and then catch the train with a change at Barcellona-Castroreale for Novara-Montalbano-Furnari.

FROM REGGIO-CALABRIA: It is also possible to reach the boarding port via Reggio-Calabria airport with Alitalia, then head to Villa San Giovanni station, take a ferry and arrive at Messina. From Messina Centrale catch the train to Novara-Montalbano-Furnari.

For more information we recommend consulting trenitalia.it.

Our advice is to reach Marina di Portorosa from Catania airport, as it is the shortest and most straightforward route.
